Our mission at The Joshua Center is to advance the Kingdom of God by leading people into an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ, teaching the truth of God’s Word, and equipping believers to discover and fulfill their God-given purpose. We are passionate about seeing lives saved, transformed, and firmly established in Christ.
Through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit, we are committed to developing mature believers who are grounded in the Word, strengthened in their faith, and equipped to impact the world around them. We believe every believer has been called and empowered to demonstrate the love of Christ and carry His Kingdom into their families, communities, and every area of influence. Our heart extends beyond the walls of our church. From the Inland Empire to the nations, we are committed to making disciples, building strong families, serving people, and proclaiming the message of Jesus Christ so that His Kingdom may be established in the earth.
Apostle Reegis O. Richard is a native of Mansfield, Louisiana, whose life was radically transformed after a powerful encounter with Jesus Christ in October 2000. Together with his wife, Shunda, he founded The Joshua Center Int’l Church in Rancho Cucamonga, California, in 2012. They are the proud parents of six children and have dedicated their lives to ministry, discipleship, and advancing the Kingdom of God.
Apostle Reegis has ministered the Gospel throughout the world, including Africa, India, Russia, Israel, Romania, and Central America. His ministry is marked by a strong apostolic mantle and the gifts of healing, prophecy, and deliverance. With a deep love for this generation, his desire is to see lives saved and transformed, believers walking in total victory, and the Kingdom of God established in the earth.
In addition to his ministry work, Apostle Richard was featured in the 2009 documentary Haynesville and later appeared on the front cover of USA Today in December 2010.
Pastor Shunda Richard is a dynamic pastor, leader, and prophetic voice with a God-given mandate to awaken purpose, cultivate spiritual growth, and empower individuals to boldly walk in their divine destiny. Alongside her husband, Apostle Reegis Richard, she serves in leadership at The Joshua Center International Church, where her passion for worship, building people, and strengthening the Body of Christ is demonstrated through teaching, prayer, leadership, and pastoral ministry.
As a devoted wife and mother of six, Pastor Shunda carries a unique grace to minister across generations, with a heart for women, families, marriages, and emerging leaders. Her ministry is marked by a desire to create atmospheres where people encounter the presence of God, experience healing and transformation, and are equipped to become all God has called them to be.
Pastor Shunda is committed to raising and equipping believers who will impact their families, communities, and nations for the Kingdom of God. Through every assignment, she carries a message of faith, restoration, purpose, and spiritual awakening while developing the next generation of Kingdom leaders.
